Roh Jungsug is a sculptor who creates visual illusions and spatial depth by hammering and grinding cold, solid steel plates. Moving beyond traditional painting media, he physically strikes and shapes steel to produce dimensionality, while using a grinder to form images that shift with light, reflection, and the viewer’s gaze. His work transcends simple metalcraft, transforming steel into a living, breathing space. It invites viewers into a realm where reality and illusion blur.
